NBT BANK HIRES DEITRICH AS INVESTMENT OFFICER FOR VERMONT


Peter McCarthyNORWICH, N.Y. (APRIL 30, 2010) – NBT Bank Regional President Matt Durkee announced that Annmarie Deitrich has joined NBT Financial Group as vice president and investment officer. In this position, she is assisting high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients in Vermont with their investment management needs. She is based at NBT Bank’s regional office at 150 Bank Street in Burlington, Vt.

NBT Financial Group, a division of NBT Bank, provides services related to trust, investments, insurance and retirement. The group manages and administers assets of approximately $3.3 billion.

Deitrich has 28 years of financial services experience. Before joining NBT Financial Group, she was a portfolio manager for Maple Capital Management in Montpelier, Vt. Her duties included managing client assets and contributing to the firm’s investment process. Prior to this, she was a vice president and senior portfolio manager in the wealth management division of Burlington-based Chittenden Bank, where she worked with clients for 20 years. She also has experience managing assets for clients in the captive insurance industry.

Deitrich is a native of Burlington and has a bachelor’s degree in business and economics from Lehigh University. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute, and she is past president and program chair of the Vermont CFA Society.
