NBT BANK HOLDS RIBBON CUTTING FOR GRAND REOPENING OF BINGHAMTON NORTHGATE OFFICE
NORWICH, N.Y. (JUNE 11, 2010) – On June 10, NBT Bank held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to formally reopen its Binghamton Northgate Office. This office, located at 1256 Front Street in Binghamton, opened in 1993 and recently underwent major interior and exterior renovations.
The renovations included a new remote drive-up, new teller line, new offices and conference room for customer meetings, new entrance, improved parking and enhanced landscaping. On hand for the ribbon cutting were NBT Bank executives and employees, local public officials, area business leaders, customers and guests.
NBT Bank Regional President Jeff Lake said: “The Binghamton Northgate Office was NBT Bank’s first location in Broome County. This location helped us lay the foundation for the 11 branches we now have in Greater Binghamton. We are happy to reinvest in the future of Binghamton Northgate.”
A special guest at the ribbon cutting was artist Orazio Salati, a Vestal resident who has a studio and gallery in downtown Binghamton. Salati officially unveiled four local-themed paintings he created for the Binghamton Northgate Office’s new interior. He is a nationally recognized artist and arts educator whose work has been exhibited throughout the world. In 2007, the Broome County Arts Council awarded him a Heart of the Arts Award for his significant contributions to local arts.
