External Account Transfer
External Account Transfer* provides the ability to conveniently and securely move funds between your NBT Bank accounts and accounts at other financial institutions. You can even schedule payments to your NBT Bank loan.
To set up an External Account Transfer, just log in to your NBT Online Banker account, click on the Transfers tab and select the Recipients tab to establish a new external account. After verifying your external accounts, they will be conveniently listed on the Account Balances screen of your NBT Online Banker account. You will also have the ability to transfer funds through NBT Bank Mobile Banking. Transfers typically take 1-3 days to complete and are subject to the Funds Availability Policy of NBT Bank and other participating financial institutions.

One Time Pin
One Time PIN is an added level of security that NBT Online Banker customers with access to Bill Pay are required to enroll in.
A One Time PIN is a randomly selected, six-digit number. You can choose to receive your One time PIN in one of the following three ways:
- Automated call back to your phone number on file
- Text message to your mobile phone number on file
- Email to your email address on file
To ensure you receive your One-time PIN, it is important that your contact information is current and up to date. You will be prompted to review this information during the enrollment process.
